GOOD NEWS

On 15th of January, 2010, the objectionable T.V. show “Raz Pichhle Janam Ka” on NDTV Imagine has ended prematurely.Science & Rationalists Association of India was protesting against this unscientific and harmful ‘reality show’ in support of reincarnation from the beginning. The association started a signatue campaign and got a flood of supportive mails. Stalwarts like Richard Dawkins published our campaign in their website. Prabir Ghosh challenged the channel and offered to expose the fraudulent arrangement made in the name of hypnotism and revelation of ‘past life’ stories.

We are thankful to the NDTV channel for withdrawing the program. We are grateful to our friends and heartily congratulate all our supporters who joined the campaign.

    Fight against superstition is great but in the present Indian context to get a media like NDTV to rethink about mistakes for the sake of science and scientific temper is a superb achievement in the annals of Rationalist movement.
