    prosant vushan is correct. if needed, there must be public-election whether PM would be in committee or not.

    সমস্ত জনপ্রতিনিধি, অর্থাৎ এম.এল.এ, এম.পি ইনক্লুডিঙ অল মিনিস্টারস — সবাই ‘পাবলিক সারভেন্ট’ অর্থাৎ জনগণের চাকর। সুতরাং জনগণই আসল মালিক। প্রনব বাবুরা সেটা মনে রাখুন।
    চাকর চাকরের মতো থাকলেই তো ভালো। চাকর যদি চুরি করে তবে মালিক ব্যবস্থা নেবে না তো নেবে টা কে? পাশের বাড়ির খাঁদি?

    মধু কোড়া, দুবছর মুখ্যমন্ত্রী হয়ে ৪০০০ হাজার কোটি টাকার চুরি ধরা পড়েছে। এ. রাজা কেন্দ্রিয় মন্ত্রি হয়ে ২০০০০০০০০০০০০০ টাকা চুরি করেছে। মাথা ঘুরে যাচ্ছে? যে চাকর গুলো এমন চুরি করে তাদের সঙ্গে কেমন ভাবে পেশ হওয়া উচিত? তাদের কে বাগে আনতে ‘লোকপাল বিলের’ দরকার নেই?

    কি বলেন প্রণব বাবু?

    I support views of A K Bairagi. The leaders of Central govt should not forget that they are PUBLIC SERVANTS.

    I do not understand why centre is so reluctant to include PM. If a majority of citizens want it, that doesn’t mean they are against Manmohan Singh personally. It means in future if some corrupt person like one Soren or one Koda happens to become the PM, people will have some place to go.

    The demand has nothing to do with the present PM or even the UPA govt; it’s just a precaution against possible future necesities. It has been so for the last 40 years. Had the bill been passed earlier, the nation would not have been in such a mess now. Manmohan, Sibbal & co should be more objective. This is their chance to show an upright and unbiased image.

    I do not think the Lokpal Law is necessary at all to minimise corruption. The Laws of the land those already exist,if properly executed are sufficient.Also necessary is public awareness. We should give up the practice of respecting the corrupt people who are, indeed honoured and feared by the society. Mass hating of the corrupt people is the prime necessity.LET US BOYCOT CORRUPT PEOPLE FIRST.
