Research Contract Review and Negotiation Intensive

This 3-week training intensive is designed to equip participants with an understanding of the complex and challenging aspects of contract negotiation and management within the realm of research. Join course instructors as they explore the various contract types, negotiation factors, and best practices for efficient negotiations.

Research contracts are distinct from grants and cooperative agreements. Understanding the components of a research contract and how terms and conditions are applied are important concepts to consider when determining which contracts to accept at your institution and how to administer them properly. The content will be organized around the presenters’ experiences in negotiating and administering contracts related to and supporting research activities.

CEU Credits

  • This course is eligible for 12 Continuing Education Units (CEU) credits.
