Large-Scale, Collaborative, and Strategic Proposals

Large-Scale, Collaborative, and Strategic (LSCS) proposals require more advanced understanding and expertise than standard sponsored project proposals. Such proposals are often inter-, multi-, or cross-disciplinary, involve significant collaboration with other departments, colleges, and organizations, and require more time, preparation, and resources. While research development and proposal enhancement services offering support to these teams are becoming more common, pre-award research administrators are increasingly called on for proposal coordination, budget development, internal process navigation, and documentation requirements for these labor-intensive projects.

In this mini-intensive, you will learn how Pre-award Research Administrators often function as Project Managers, and learn strategies for developing, preparing, budgeting, and submitting LSCS proposals.
