Want to see God?

Concentrate looking at the four dots in the middle of this abstract picture. Keep looking at the four dots for 30 seconds or a little more than that. Then close your eyes, and tilt your head backwards. Let your eyes remain closed. You will be able to see someone. What is it? Who do you see?

What you saw just now was an illusion of seeing God. Many people who think about seeing God, see illusions of God, and start believing that they have seen God; scientifically speaking, they have been hallucinating about God. Some of them believe they have direct connection with God. Even Joan of Arc, the legendary warrior believed she had a direct connection with God (after she found a sword on her field, that might have dropped from the sheath of a soldier crossing the field on horseback, she started believing God has dropped the sword from heaven for her). She would hallucinate about hearing voices and seeing God.

Here is another good example of how illusion can play funny tricks with us. Check out the picture below. What do you see? An angry man (showing his teeth) on the LEFT and a woman with a neutral expression on the RIGHT, correct? Now move 8 to 10 feet away from the computer screen. What do you see now?

That was illusion! Did you enjoy it?
